Apple Announces Deadline to 'Get Ready' to Pre-Order the iPhone Duo

I think you are going to be wrong. I am pretty confident that Apple is about to kick the foldable phone market into high gear. Hobby time is over when Apple does it.

I’m so glad I’m sitting out the launch. I’m probably gonna pick it up in January after the holidays, but $2000 without going hands on with it, without seeing durability test and actual genuine reviews from people who actually are spending their own money on it, not paid influencers, not professional tech critics who don’t have to put up their own money to review it, it’s gonna sell out within 20 minutes, you’re not gonna be able to get your hands on one unless you pay a reseller I figure it’s easier to get one after the holidays. By that time, if there’s a major issue with the hinge or the screen, it will be widely known, people will have done actual durability test on it, and I’ll be able to play with one in the store and decide if it’s worth $2000 if so, then I’ll be happy to pick one up but every instinct in me tells me, just wait two months

I buy from Apple, not some other retailer, so that I always have the 14 day return policy. If I find it’s crap or has problems, I’m sure that will be known in 14 days. I don’t see me returning this, though.

I've been ready for the Duo from the moment I could be!

I thought I was safe from the preorder fiasco since I have my 18 Pro until my best friend asked me if I could preorder his Duo for him since he's away at a work conference.
