Apple continues their speedy development on Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) and provided developers with another seed -- Panther 7B44 as well as Xcode 7B44.
Per usual, this seed provides few details on specific improvements, but reportedly includes changes to Filevault's file structure.
Unrelated to Panther seeds, but of more interest to most users is reports that a couple of iApps will be seeing upgrades in the next few weeks... with updates to iSync and iCal to versions 1.2 and 1.5, respectively. These updates will presumably be released independent of Panther.
iSync was recently updated to version 1.1 in early June. The 1.1 upgrade added more phone suppport and Bookmark syncing.
iCal, however, remains at a 1.0.2 version number, and has not seen significant updates since its release.
Current Panther builds contain early versions of iCal 1.5, which contains significant improvements in performance, calender event scheduling and user interface.
Apple has yet to reveal when the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Ultra will be announced and released, but the dates usually follow a familiar pattern.
