Deals: New Beats Studio Pro Headphones Available for $249.99 ($100 Off)

The new Beats Studio Pro over-ear headphones have received their first discount today on Best Buy and Amazon, available for $249.99, down from $349.99. Best Buy offers free in-store pick-up as well as free next-day shipping, and Amazon offers the usual free two-day shipping for Prime customers.

These headphones debuted last month with improved sound quality, voice performance, comfort and durability, and connectivity. You'll find all four colors on sale at both Amazon and Best Buy: Sandstone, Navy, Deep Brown, and Black.

Bought them and APMs at the same time and constantly switched back and forth. The Beats creaked like a 90 year old's knees, just terrible. They were quite a bit quieter at the top end and the soundstage wasn't as big. Otherwise they sounded pretty similar.

I liked the feel on the ears of the Beats better - but the pads are really soft so the driver covers rest against your ears, even after doing the 180 degree bend on the APMs. But at $350 I couldn't justify the build quality cheapness. At $250 they're probably ok but I'd absolutely get Apple Care.

I have no need for these with AirPods Pro 2 being so convenient, but they are tempting at this price.
