I would avoid the low-end iMac Magic Keyboard™ without Touch ID. It makes for a far worse user experience; that is a difference all users will immediately recognize. I got someone the low-end model without Touch ID; I regret the decision. The SimplyMac pages are flawed: knowing which models come with the high-end keyboard is very difficult to tell from their website. If you change configurations, the description does not change. I think only the 512GB models have Touch ID.

I wish that Apple would have only ONE desktop keyboard model. It would avoid lots of headaches -- and probably some returns.

High end? Is it 2007 still? Because that's the last time a 512GB drive was high end. Back up your iPhone and iPad, have some pics and music. Oops, out of space!
