When it comes to the iMac, Apple's focus has shifted to the M6 iMac. At the current time, the M6 iMac comes in one size option, 24-inch, and all of the same colors: Blue, Green, Pink, Silver, Orange, Yellow, and Purple.
The 24-inch iMac was first announced in April 2021, and it came with the M1 chip. In October 2026, Apple refreshed this lineup with the M6 chip, making the new desktops up to 12× faster than the model with the M1 chip, and up to 18× faster than the final Intel-based iMac.
Additionally, the new 24-inch iMac with the M6 chip features faster performance, an N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support, faster SSD speeds, and more. In June 2026, Apple announced a wave of price hikes across the Mac lineup, so shoppers should note that all of the prices below reflect these new increases on each model.
With the 24-inch iMac replacing the lower-end 21.5-inch iMac and the higher-end 27-inch iMac having finally been discontinued, this guide is now focusing on deals for the 24-inch iMac in all of its configurations. In this guide, you'll find the best currently available prices for the iMac at major Apple resellers including Adorama, Amazon, B&H Photo, and Best Buy. We'll be tracking the best prices for all iMac models, focusing on the newest iterations of each computer.
24-inch iMac (M4, 2024)
Apple didn't update the design of the M4 iMac, although it can now be configured with a nano-texture display which has a special coating that better scatters light to further minimize glare on the screen.
Amazon has a few discounts on the iMac this month, including $105 off the 512GB model.
Apple just announced the new M6 iMac, and it features the same design and color options as the previous generation, with performance improvements thanks to the M6 chip.
Because the M6 models are so new, we don't expect big discounts anytime soon.
