Tesla Reportedly Still Planning to Offer Apple CarPlay
In his Power On newsletter today, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said that Apple CarPlay support in Tesla vehicles is "still in the works."

In November, Gurman reported that Tesla plans to offer the regular, wireless version of CarPlay, rather than the more advanced CarPlay Ultra system. CarPlay would appear within a window inside of Tesla's broader software interface, he said.
Gurman did not provide a timeframe, but he promised to share more details soon.
This would be a stunning reversal for Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk, who have long ignored customer requests to implement CarPlay.
Tesla does offer standalone Apple Music and Apple Podcasts apps through its own interface. CarPlay would go a step further by allowing drivers to easily access a wider variety of iPhone apps right on the dashboard screen in a Tesla.
