Veterans Day is held annually in the United States on November 11, as a way to celebrate and remember individuals who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

I too salute the veterans. However, why is it that Memorial Day and Veterans Day feel like the same celebration?
Memorial Day is for those who have died while serving in the military
Veterans Day is for those who have served in the military
Armed Forces Day is for those serving in the military

maybe I didn't get your ask correct though

For any fellow veterans looking to buy Apple products, they are eligible for the military discount on Apple's online store. ('http://militarybenefits.info/apple-military-discount/')

It is about 5-15% off depending on the product and is for any day of the year, not just holidays.

Thank you Apple for showing veterans support, and not just on one day a year.

Quick history lesson:

Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, honors the end of World War I, which officially took place on November 11, 1918. That's why it's always 11/11 (but usually honored on the nearest business day). Memorial Day honor those who passed away in the service. Armed Forces Day is for those who serve.

I've had a number of family members serve and I'm glad to see Apple setting up a special section for a group that I think deserves having some special attention.
