In terms of upgrades, in March 2026 we got new iPad Air models with the M4 chip. These models come in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, and now feature the M4 chip with up to 30 percent faster performance compared to the M3 iPad Air. They also feature Apple's N1 wireless networking chip with Wi-Fi 7 support and custom C1X modem in cellular models.
For the iPad, this entry-level model was updated in early 2025 and now features the A16 Bionic chip and more storage. Apple says that compared to the previous generation, the new iPad is nearly 30 percent faster.
Finally, in October 2025 Apple updated the iPad Pro lineup. The new iPad Pro comes with the M5 chip, Apple's custom-designed C1X model on the cellular models, and the N1 chip that enables Wi-Fi 7. The new iPad Pro retains the same design as the previous generation, and still comes in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes.

Apple introduced the 11th generation iPad in March 2025, and it comes with a new A16 Bionic chip. Otherwise, the design and color options are similar to the previous generation models.

Amazon has up $150 off select models of the M3 iPad Air, with most of the deals focused on 13-inch models.
Apple announced the M4 iPad Air in March 2026 and it features faster performance thanks to the M4 chip, and an overall similar design to the previous models. The M4 iPad Air still comes in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, and starts at $599.
Best Buy has the first cash discounts on the new M4 iPad Air, offering $40 off the 128GB models of the tablet for all shoppers. If you have a My Best Buy Plus/Total membership, you can get up to $50 every model.
