Woot Launches Prime Day Event With Up to $50 Off Nintendo Switch 2

Woot this week kicked off a big Prime Day-adjacent event, with the headliner being a massive discount on the Nintendo Switch 2. You'll also find savings on charging accessories, Bluetooth speakers, and more.

For the Nintendo Switch 2, you can get a brand new model of the console for $399.00 with the code CHEAPSWITCH2 at checkout. This takes $50 off the $449.00 version of the console for new Woot customers, and $30 off for everyone else.

Note: Use code CHEAPSWITCH2 at checkout.

Even at $419.00 for returning customers, this is a great and very rare discount on the Nintendo Switch 2, which is set to have a price hike to $499.00 later in the year. This version of the console does not come with a game, and it is in new condition on Woot with a 90 day Woot limited warranty.

Woot also has a large selection of Prime Day sales going on this week, including savings on Samsung The Frame TVs, Apple Watch bands, iPhone cases and chargers, Bluetooth speakers, and more.

Yikes - good catch. Someone read the fine print... That said, I'm not sure how a sealed brand new Switch 2 would not come with a Nintendo warranty. What kind of shady deal it WOOT pulling here?
Manufacturers warranty wouldn't apply if Woot isn't an authorized Nintendo retailer

https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/50406/~/service-request-information

How can I check if my Nintendo product is under warranty?

You will need the sales receipt or bill from an authorized retailer as proof of purchase. This proof of purchase must be presented to the Nintendo Authorized Service center, and they will determine if the service will be covered under the warranty.

Warranty: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty
So, you save $50, but you also get no manufacturers warranty? Where's the deal?

If you’re not too concerned about the lack of manufacturer’s warranty from this being from a third-party reseller, this is a nice deal. Especially considering Nintendo Switch 2 will be getting a $50 price bump up to $499 in September.

Nope, demand outside of Japan fell off a cliff around the holidays because there just aren't any killer apps for this new model. The price hikes a few months ago further killed what little momentum remained.
Where on earth does this assumption come from? Nintendo Switch 2 has been one of (if not the) fastest selling consoles. In its first year, it has sold over 20,000,000 units ('https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/finance/hard_soft/index.html') worldwide (how much over that is to be determined, since the numbers were last updated in March), outpacing the entire lifetime sales of the Nintendo GameCube already. In its first year it’s had some pretty great titles such as Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Banaza, Kirby Air Riders, and of course, Pokémon Pokopia, which has been an especially big hit. There’s also Nintendo Switch 2 editions of Nintendo Switch games bringing better performance and new content to older games.

It should be noted the crazy sales of this system are surprisingly without a new mainline entry in any of the heavy hitting series such as Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Splatoon, Super Smash Bros., or Animal Crossing. Pokémon only recently got new titles revealed for next year with Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves.

Are many people still buying a Switch 2 ?

I would have thought that most people who wanted one, already purchased one.
