Apple Arcade Adding These Two New Games in February

Worse and worse! These games, although they might make sense on a mobile platform, require a rather expensive subscription. Therefore, it's always preferable to go for a Nintendo Switch or something similar. For iPhones, the games available on the regular Apple Store work just fine and are at the same level as these 'Arcade' games. As for Macs, the hardware is getting closer to an acceptable gaming level for AAA titles, but Apple keeps offering the same games that run on iPhones. Plus, it seems like Apple's exorbitant policies often annoy developers, as I often see games released on 'Arcade' only to be reintroduced on the regular App Store.

The one major plus in the Arcade column is no ads, and no bs time-gating. You may or may not think that's worth the price of the subscription, but it's a honestly a breath of fresh air in the mobile gaming space. You download the game, you play the game, and that's it.

I gotta agree. The bottom of the barrel can't be too far off from these.
Having said that, I suppose different genre appeal to different people and options are better than no options.

Is there 1 normal FPS game? I don't get the point of this.

Would like to see more games added to Arcade. But decent selection of games are available now.

I find the thing it’s best for is kids. At least with Arcade you can give them a set of games they can play without worrying about anything crazy popping up.

The games themselves are great if you’ve never had an iPhone before. But if you played all these when they first came out there’s not a whole lot original.

The two in the article do appear to be new games, at least to me, so that’s progress.

They know what they’re doing making it an automatic family plan. I bet there are tons of parents who tried it out for themselves but kept it for their kids.
