Earlier in the week we shared a discount on the AirPods 2 with Wired Charging Case, which was an all-time low price. These frequent deals is a reflection of how saturated the market is right now and how good older tech is. Really, streaming a video on Netflix or YouTube doesn't require an M1 or an A16. I really want to know how Apple is gonna get people to upgrade in mass to newer devices throughout this decade. Because the iPhone 14 is really a peak device.

Best Buy has the same $400 off. I just picked up a 14" MacBook Pro M1 16GB 1TB for $2,099 (regular $2,499) at Best Buy last night. I know the new one is coming but I will never realized the gains in an M2 powered machine, so figured I'd keep $400 in my pocket.

They said the same thing about the 13 last year. And the Power PC years ago. Technology always moves forward. Advances in programming require more power and so on. AI is resource hungry. May not change the phones much physically for a few years but that doesn’t mean there are no advancements being made.
