Looks like an interesting product, but outrageously priced. $80?

I once had a smallish manufacturer tell me that he couldn't make and sell a basic metal rectangular box for <$100.

Between tooling, design, manufacturing, packaging and distribution costs, there's just not a lot of margin in these type of bespoke products.

This looks great, and seriously more elegant than other products I've seen for raising a portable computer to eye level.

£65/$80 definitely seems reasonable, given the finish, travel sleeve and versatility.

Love my Roost Stand, nothing can replace this thing when I‘m travelling. Love the small footprint, exceptional design and functionality. Using it for over 6 years now.
