iOS 26 was released last month, but the software train never stops, and iOS 26.1 beta testing is already underway. So far, iOS 26.1 makes both Apple Intelligence and Live Translation on compatible AirPods available in additional languages, and it includes some other minor changes across the Apple Music, Calendar, Photos, Clock, and Safari apps.

Apple's software engineers continue to internally test iOS 26.0.2, according to MacRumors logs, which have been a reliable indicator of upcoming iOS versions.

Why the heck doesn't Apple buy TP-Link or Linksys or something and rebrand this as airport devices? I loved my Airport Extreme...so much easier to configure and reliable than the other routers at the time. They could totally charge "Apple Prices" for this too and most would willingly pay if the support and easy of use is there (maybe that is the issue! Routers are "tricky")?
I'm still running multiple Airport Extremes (wifi 5, 802.11ac) that are sharing from Ethernet.... and I never drop off and as long as they are faster than my Internet connection, I won't be updating. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The AX4200 routers *DO NOT SUPPORT HOMEKIT*!!! I have tried multiple times, even resetting the routers completely after the updates (supplied by Linksys) and it consistently tells me I "need to reboot the routers" and no, thats not it!
Linksys needs to get back to work on this one, and dont hype features that dont work!

Maybe this is why Apple dropped out of routers. It's too frustrating to support HomeKit correctly!
I had these routers and they kept randomly restarting all the time... I put a fan on them and they stopped doing it :/ So obviously overheating, their forums have so many people complaining about it..... build a fan in them next time Linksys.
