In the US and many other countries, the content listed below can be streamed for free online via Apple.co/FreeForEveryone or through the ‌Apple TV‌ app on iPhone, iPad, ‌Apple TV‌, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, and Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices.

In other words, to view the content, you don't need an Apple subscription – the only requirement is that you sign in with an Apple ID.

  • Ghostwriter
  • Helpsters
  • For All Mankind
  • Servant
  • Snoopy in Space
  • The Elephant Queen

The content represents about a third of Apple's TV+ offering, and excludes some of the service's premium shows like "The Morning Show," which remains behind Apple's streaming paywall.

Apple is also currently offering extended trials of several streaming services available within the ‌Apple TV‌ app under ‌Apple TV‌ Channels, including free access to EPIX for the next month.

Apple is still rolling out its "Free for Everyone" offering, so sit tight if you're not able to access it just yet. Meanwhile, if you're keen to check out the full raft of content, Apple still offers a free seven-day trial of ‌Apple TV‌+, which converts into a $4.99 per month subscription or an annual $49.99 subscription if users continue with the service.

The morning show and Mythic Quest are the two shows that would really get people to subscribe.

This... is a nice thing for them to do. I'm sure some are at least feeling like they're running out of things to watch, or are casting about for something new and different (and Apple has no reruns, it's all new, original content).

It'll also probably pick them up some new subscribers as some (admittedly small) portion of the people who take a look end up subscribing.

One gem they're holding back from this free offer is Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet.

I’m not being pessimistic here, but what’s the point of this? Most users were offered a free trial or where given a year for free if they purchased an Apple device.
Not everyone has purchased a new Apple device recently. I would imagine that there are more Apple users who didn't qualify for a free year than those that did.

ADDED - plus non-Apple users can access it if they have compatible smartTV and/or a newer-ish Roku.

This is a win-win. People who have finished what they wanted to watch elsewhere can have something new and Apple can hook some people onto some of the originals so there will be more viewers once the new seasons come out.
