Finally Gold: Diablo II

Blizzard, yesterday, issued a press release announcing that Diablo II has finally gone gold. A long time in coming, this really should be one mindblowing game. Providing a far more expansive and rich world than the original Diablo (one of the best games ever, where it appears that a team of hardcore developers saw Rogue/Moria/Hack, loved it, became posessed by satan, and spit out a crazyfine new game), Diablo II will be an excellent addition to the Mac gaming world (Mac version available Q3 this year). Among other improvements over the first version is the replacement of a 3D-looking 2D world with a fully hardware accelerated, true 3D game world. I can't wait.
