I caved in last night and ordered an 18 PM Glacier 512GB after coming to terms with myself that the Duo (while impressive even for a first-gen form-factor) IS a first-gen product with an unproven timeframe on the crease with daily usage over several months 🤔 Plus, I think a month with the latest processor and cameras would let me decide if the lack of a 5x zoom is THAT much of an issue (although I've seen conflicting reviews about the variable aperture). We'll find out in 5 days!

18 Pro Black 256GB this year. Seriously considered the Glacier, but went with Black as I feel it is more versatile with cases and screen wallpaper backgrounds etc. I really like that this is truly a dark black color this year and not the graphite hue from the past. More like my black iPhone 7 was back in the day.

Glacier was an easy choice. Second choice would have been Burgundy. My outgoing 14 Pro is Space Black and I didn't want another dark phone -- even if it's hidden in a case it's entire life.

I’m definitely going with an iPhone Duo, but I’m still undecided on the color.

The brushed titanium on the 15 Pro/Pro Max and 16 Pro/Pro Max seemed much more resistant to scratches than the stainless-steel finishes on the 12–14 Pro models. That said, the darker stainless-steel colors generally appeared to hide wear better than the lighter ones.

I’m wondering whether that same idea applies here. I would like the White Duo but would also like to avoid scratches if possible.
