If a recent report from ThinkSecret holds true, Apple may be experiencing extremely high demand for the player, as reportedly Apple's retail stores have been told that shipments to them will be delayed until "mid-November" at the earliest. In addition, resellers such as Amazon are reported to have updated their shipping estimates to November 25th - December 9.
Clarification: Some readers seem to be misinterpreting our use of the term '2G'. This article concerns the second generation iPod Shuffle, which has a capacity of 1 Gigabyte (1 GB).
