Maybe this version of tvOS will de-cloak the rumoured new tv hardware… Sort of a Steve Jobs-style 'ta-da' intro, with it having been sitting in our lounges in 'plain view' for the last week.

I just spent ages trying to find how to leave the beta program on my atv now tvOS 27 has released, and was tearing my hair out as I couldn't see where.

So if you are having the same issue and Beta Updates doesn't show under software updates, then press play on the remote 4x in quick succession while on the software updates screen and then a number of options, including Beta Updates on/off, appears.

I installed it. You didn't mention it, but Music is supposed to have hi-res lossless now. Audio Quality in Music still says: Lossless ALAC up to 24-bit/48 kHz. That's the same as before and not Hi-Res Lossless audio, which by Apple standards is 24-bit/96 kHz and above. (I have a 2nd gen 2021 4K box)
