Yes - you can connect the eARC from the TV to the AppleTV - which "airs" the sound of "regular Televison" also to my 2 Homepods (not only the sound of the AppleTV) - which always worked for years now - and since tvOS27 this feature is broken.
Wow, I didn't even know that.
I see there's a new sound setting on ATV 4K, or maybe it was there in the last beta, under "sound out" it now says receiver speakers and my Sonos has also appeared, it wasn't there before. I think it said TV speakers before and my Sonos wasn't there.

What do you mean? eARC is for audio output, I haven't experienced any issues.

Well - as I left my Homepods on OS26 I am quite sure it is the TV OS...

but who knows 🤪
Thanks, I also did some research on Reddit and apparently they can also succumb electrical interference.

So I’ve taken my indoor out of the usb port of my Wi-Fi router and connected it into a proper usb power brick.

So we’ll see how we get on.

But other than the sync quirks, it’s been fine so far.

My homepods have been better since 27 but when I was on TV OS beta 5 was sometimes cutting the HomePods out.
Same here, ARC is the only real issue I’ve had with tvOS 27 so far but don’t know if it is the Apple TV or HomePods causing the issue or possibly both. tvOS 27 beta 5 was much better than beta 4 but I’ve still been getting intermittent audio dropouts or distortion.

Hopefully beta 6 sorts it out.
