Cook and CFO Kevan Parekh will discuss Apple's earnings results for the second quarter of the 2026 calendar year on the live-streamed conference call. While the call is primarily intended for Apple shareholders and Wall Street analysts, anyone can listen live for free on Apple's Investor Relations website, with no registration required.

The call should last around one hour. Cook and Parekh will read their prepared remarks, and then they will take questions from analysts.

If you miss the call, a recording will be available for replay on the page later in the day.

Apple's hardware engineering chief John Ternus is taking over as CEO on September 1, so Cook will no longer be CEO when the next earnings call occurs.

Tim Cook: Apple 'Reluctantly Raised Prices' Due to '100-Year Flood on Memory Pricing'

Thursday July 30, 2026 3:48 pm PDT by
Apple didn't want to raise its prices but was forced to do so because of exponential increases in memory costs, Apple CEO Tim Cook said today during the company's Q3 2026 earnings call. What a ride its been. If you bought 10k of Apple stock when he became CEO in 2011 that stock, taking into account stock splits and price adjustments, would be worth about 250k today. And that's not including the dividends its payed out.

I had the option back in 2000 to buy $1500 worth of stock in Apple or an indigo clamshell iBook... $555k down the drain 😭😭😭 But the iBook still works, so I still have that.

I guess they won't be announcing the Powerbook G5 then?
Nah they’re going to publish a photo journal of the last 15 years of Apple. I heard it’s going to be called the CookBook.

It’s unlikely Ternus will be able to do the same…
It's certainly a different world and Cook had a very unique ability to manage global events better than almost any other CEO. I am glad he will be on the board of directors and still have influence and provide insight to management.

I'm happy that this will be Cook's final earnings call. Cook is one of the best ever in terms of operations and supply chain, but I'm hoping Apple gets back to its roots moving forward when it comes to product design and innovation being paramount.

They barely even do a dividend, it’s pitiful compared to their peers. Tim was too busy saving money in his war chest that he never used. Hopefully that will change and investors will start getting proper returns.
Quite a few tech companies pay zero. Apple has upped their dividend every year since they started paying them (ignoring the old 90s dividends). Meta is just a bit higher than Apple. Google is zero.

So I wouldn’t really say it’s pitiful compared to peers. Of course I have a bunch of IBM. I like those dividends.
