Siri AI Comes to Apple Watch in watchOS 27 Beta 3

Still processed on the iPhone, yet lots of Apple Watch got killed for this “feature”

For what it's worth, I just asked it for a recipe suggestion for a more heart healthy recipe for vanilla and chocolate chipi ice cream to put in my ninja creami. it generated a reasonable one, and then i asked it to both add ingredients to my reminders based groceries list as well as add the recipe to notes, and it did it. all from my watch. my phone is several rooms over. impressed.

Like always everyone loves to hate on anything Apple these days 🙄

But this is a game changer for me! I use the new Siri AI (and well, all AI) for random requests/questions, right now I have use the physical button and Home Screen shortcuts to use ChatGPT/Siri AI... but to be able to use my watch now? I can do this all day. I love this so much. I bet this would get my watch to wear her Apple Watch more too, she's always using AI for random questions throughout the day and for work.

Apple has been some great things lately, my only wish is Siri AI on HomePod, that's the only tech in my house that is truly behind the times. I need a better HomePod, hope we see something HomePod related in Sep/Oct.

Everyone is talking about setting timers here have me laughing. But honestly, I use this feature a lot. I wear my watch, have my phone, and my homepod. When I say "siri set a timer for 10 minutes" its a gamble weather the phone or homepod pick up the request. And the devices never speak to each other or understand one another. So when I ask "how long is left on the timer" more often than not the opposite device that initiated the timer answers and tells me no timer is set. Ideally, I would love that all devices work together for the request and response to understand this kind of behavior.
