Apple Releases macOS Tahoe 26.5.2

Apple today released macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, a small update to the ‌macOS Tahoe‌ operating system that came out last year. ‌macOS Tahoe‌ 26.5.2 comes a month after Apple released ‌macOS Tahoe‌ 26.5.1.

Mac owners can download the software by opening the System Settings app and then navigating to the Software Updates section.

Back in the days, I remember downloading the combo updater and ran it on top of the 'new' version just for reinsurance.

I see 26.5.2 showing up on my M1 Pro moment ago.
I remember installing new releases on discs and developer builds required downloading a new ISO and burning it every two weeks for a complete installation of every new beta for 2-3 years. It ensured proper core OS testing without third party apps being an issue.

I miss that Snow Leopard intro.

i wish i could just go macos27 beta but am afraid im gonna screw something up, macos26 feels pretty poor compared to Sequoia.
