I really want these … but $400 for a collapsing canopy & water condensation problems Apple seems unwilling to properly fix doesn’t sound like a deal to me.

I’d pay 250 for these. I had a pair and they were nice, slightly roomier sound than AirPods Pro, but not worth much more moolah

I'm happy with my APM1 (USB-C). Way too expensive to upgrade, and if I'm being honest, I don't feel like I'm missing anything essential. The X% better ANC and X% better sound are arbitrary numbers IMO. But for people who don't have them, I think this is a pretty decent deal. They're really nice headphones.

At US$399, the AirPods Max is now worth the money. Reason: the chance that with the iPhone 18 Pro (and eventually iPhone 18) models, the C2 I/O chip might support a higher bandwidth AAC encoding with a rate as high as 768 kilobits/second when decoded with any Apple headphone using the H2 chip, which could mean sound quality very close to that of Apple Lossless encoding.
