Just hours ahead of Apple's special event, Best Buy has seemingly suggested that AirPods Pro 3 will be available to order starting today.
Best Buy's website is already offering My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members in the U.S. a $20 reward for AirPods Pro 3, before they are even announced by Apple. The offer will be valid starting September 9, which suggests the AirPods Pro 3 will be unveiled at Apple's event and made available to order immediately afterwards.
MacRumors has confirmed the offer page exists, after it was shared on Reddit. The page does not reveal any AirPods Pro 3 features or pricing information.
AirPods Pro 3 are rumored to include a heart rate monitoring feature, which was already introduced on the Powerbeats Pro 2 earlier this year. Other expectations include design changes for an improved fit in the ear, and a smaller charging case.
Apple planned to introduce high-end in-ear AirPods with built-in cameras for analyzing the surrounding environment at today's event, but the launch has been pushed to next year, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports.
In early August, Gurman said the earbuds were progressing well enough to potentially ship before the end of the year. By mid-August, though, he reported that Apple had pulled the model...

It’s been 3 years since AirPods Pro 2, which came 3 years after the original AirPods Pro.
Really, they should be as big an upgrade - but all the last minute rumours disappointingly suggest otherwise. 😔
I was so ready to drop $250 on these day 1 but honestly if all that is changing is an HRM that I don’t need then I’ll wait for them to be under $200 on sale.
