I tried a M8 and sent it back. Image quality was lacking and it does not support native resolution PBP. I ended up with a Dell U3223QE and I've been quite happy with it.

I am ABSOLUTELY LIVID ?? that Samsung hasn't released a 144" ultra-ultra-ultra widescreen monitor! How DARE they deprive us of this utterly essential piece of technology?!

Imagine the mind-blowing possibilities:

[LIST=1]
* Finally able to display my entire collection of 8,742 cat GIFs simultaneously. My feline obsession will reach its final form!
* Watching 47 adult films at once, because why choose when you can have it all? ?? (Don't judge my multitasking skills!)
* Creating a PowerPoint slide so wide, it'll take your coworkers 3 days to read it. That's what I call a "thorough presentation"!

Samsung, you've single-handedly crushed my dreams of becoming a multi-screen overlord. I hope you're satisfied with yourselves, you dream-killing monsters.

I have been looking at the S9,(still 50% off on Amazon) but I simply can't pull the trigger as I want hdmi support for an Xbox series x to run msfs 2020 (maybe at some point I will replace that with a gaming pc) and I also need support for my current Intel iMac, at least until I can replace it with Apple silicon (studio m4 model if/when it is available.)
