I still don't want it.

I bet no one else does which is why it's discounted so heavily.

That's almost half-off... I wonder if Samsung is planning to release a new model, or if someone just really wants to get rid of inventory for some other reason? ?
It's received a lot of poor reviews. Flimsy plastic + wobbly stand, connectivity issues and dropouts - moreso with macOS, below par speakers; it's not even in the same league as the Apple Studio Display.

At this price point though, it might review a lot better.

I wish the Studio Display was $830. The lowest I’ve seen it new is $1,299.

People seem pretty hard on this, but it's almost half the price the of the Studio Display now. The panel is the most important thing, and this is a good one. It also already comes with a matte finish and adjustable height stand--upgrades Apple charges almost $700 more for. This biggest knock against this is if you find it wobbles on your desk, but you can buy it with a heavy-duty vesa mount and still be way ahead.

I definitely like the thin bezel, but not the camera. Also, the price cut is very generous.

Even with the thicker bezel and high price, I am still very happy with my Studio Displays and have no reason to consider anything else.
