Too bad it‘s always only the base models on sale. Unfortunately I can not live with only 256gb on a main machine Laptop and the price jump to a non-sale upgraded one is ridiculous.

Buy it from the Apple refurb store. BH is a good seller for photo equipment, not so great with anything else.
How do you figure? I bought an iMac from them a couple times and the experience was great. Plus tax free with a payboo card

All these M2 Air sales made me bite the bullet on Apple’s education website + gift card promo. Got tired of waiting for the M3 iMac, and MacBooks are much easier to sell.
This is the way if you qualify for education discount. I’d rather have the money off than a gift card, but it’s a great way to go.

$900 is actually less than I paid for a used one last year before the price drop. Smoking deal for this computer.

For those in the fence, if you need one now just get it - don’t listen to the naysayers who talk about lack of RAM and slow SSD. This is a powerful little machine that will cope with everyday computing with ease. And at this price you won’t need to keep it forever so don’t worry about future proofing with specs you don’t need. It will give 5-years of joy easily.

Great price. Never purchased from B&H but this is a great computer for that money. I love mine. Base spec is terrific for light use - I bought instead of an iPad and I'm super glad.

I personally suspect we won't see M3 until spring. Apple seems to be depending on the supercycle of iPhone 15 and the Apple Watch to take them up to March of 2024. They will then introduce likely some punchier colors of the iPhone 15, the sought after Red iPhone 15 Pro and iMac M3 and iPad M3. They then launch M3 Pro/Max/Ultra Macs at WWDC.
This is the way. (Please re-orient the front camera on the M3 iPad Pro.)

Those price bumps for various Services will help their bottom line in Q4 anyway.
