Apple Music subscribers can now stream shows from Apple's original radio catalog via the Apple Podcasts app, fulfilling a new services pledge made by the company earlier this year.
The new Podcasts app integration means eligible subscribers can delve into Apple Music original radio shows from the likes of Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music Country – as if they were made to be listened as podcasts.
The feature went live for eligible subscribers early on Tuesday, as per Apple's announcement in June:
"Subscribers will be able to listen to the entire catalog of award-winning, commercial-free Apple Music radio shows in Apple Podcasts, where they can follow individual shows to automatically download and be notified of new episodes as soon as they're released."
The Apple Music content can be accessed from the Podcast app's Listen Now screen, as well as from the Channels section in the Library tab.
In addition to Apple Music radio shows, users with an Apple News+ subscription should also soon be able to find News-related content in the Podcasts app.
Update: Apple has shared the following related announcement:
Starting today, subscribers to Apple Music, Apple News+, Calm, and Lingokids can access over 60 original podcasts, including more than 2,500 musically rich episodes from Apple Music Radio. New shows from top apps and services will launch every week this fall.

After they spammed everyone relentlessly advertising Apple Radio in their podcast app I immediately removed it. Their podcast app was (still is) a flaming bag of dog ****.
The lie of "ad-free" was just the icing on the turd.
I'm actually happy about this! The Music app would would lose your place in the show if you paused a show for more than a few minutes. You then had to start the show from the beginning. ?♂️
At last. Why did it take them this long. To be able to subscribe/follow particular shows makes so much sense. Apple have lost years of listener growth through taking this long to deliver it.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but Snoop Dogg did a retrospective look at the development of rap music, each show moving forward in time with the biggest artists showcased etc. When a new episode appeared, there was no notification, no way to easily find when it appeared. Not even an email.
Stretch and Bobbito are great! I also really enjoy Action Bronson's Live From The Moon radio.
Apple Music radio does have quite a few good radio shows, and even the mainstream daily ones people may have been turned off from are good to listen to at work since they’re mostly edited(would love if Apple Music had a toggle to play edited/unedited music) and upbeat hosts.
Yeah I never got why only select major a-lister artist shows got the “unedited version” treatment. It’s not like it would take work to spit out an un-bleeped copy. Especially now that they have room to spread out in the podcast app.
