The software, which is build 21A340, can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update. There is a separate iOS 17.0.2 update (build 21A350) that will be available for ‌iPhone‌ 15 and ‌iPhone‌ 15 Pro models.

According to Apple's release notes for the ‌iPhone‌, the update provides bug fixes and important security updates for all eligible devices.

This seems very rushed. The security update specifies its for iPhone 15/15 Pro models but is sent to my 13 Pro Max and 12 iPhones. I know that its not just for those phone models, but its strange they would specify them specifically.
Yeah I'd prefer it if they didn't rush security updates, I want my phone to stay vulnerable for as long as possible!
