Not to be confused with Lululemon, who only sells multiport pants, not chargers.

People sing the praises of Anker on this forum day and night and that’s a product made in China from a company located within China. Lululook products are likely the exact same quality as Anker just rebranded…
It was ages ago, but someone back then did a detailed teardown and analysis of various charging bricks and came away with the conclusion that Anker in particular was very well designed for safety, whereas other random chinese chargers were designed very poorly for safety. In short, a small charging brick necessary requires line-voltage AC to be extremely close in space to low-voltage DC. So how the circuit is physically laid out inside these power bricks, and what measures they take to ensure there is no accidental contact between the two sides, is very very important. In this regard, Anker was given very high marks.

Now, worth repeating, this was ages ago. I don't know if Anker is still taking very good care for this kind of thing.

But it does make me distrust these no-name brands. If for no other reason, the big names aren't going to risk their brand reputation in the US and EU like that. From a buyers' perspective, the difference between a $5 no-name charger and a $25 branded charger is brand reputation - the reason Belkin gets people to pay more for a charger is reputation. If a Belkin charger short-circuits and causes a fire, that would be front-page news and it would totally ruin their brand. Remember Samsung and how long it took to clean up that mess? But what does Lululook care if that happens to them? They'll rebrand as Relulook next week and carry on. They have nothing to lose.

apparently even ugreen chargers can have issues
This basically is a rebranded UGreen charger. I have their 100W charger in front of me right now. It looks the same and has the same charging port breakdown chart

Ah man, here we go again!
Wait, is Apple out of iPhone 14 Pro Max's...or is M.R. getting cheap on us? Just kidding...like my grandmomma used to say, "Beggars can't be choosers."

May the best person win.
