My AirPods Max (pictured in my avatar) have held-up very well over almost 1.5 years. Structurally these things could last another 10 years. I connect the cable to my iPhone for 'lossless' playback.

I get what you're saying about the quality being better when wired - and I agree

But we shouldn't use the term "lossless" there.

That has a specific meaning and wired AirPods Max usage isn't lossless.
A better term could be "lessloss" ?

I connect the cable to my iPhone for 'lossless' playback.
I don't think the Max's can actually do true lossless, even wired..

That said, I do enjoy them wired up to my 4th Gen iPod!
