It’s one of those days that end in the letter “y” so right on cue, something at Anker is on sale

When a brand is always on sale, it means they never really intended to sell at the original price.

I’ve been a long time fan of Anker. Had some devices go wonky because I plugged them into off brand USB chargers. And it’s been Anker ever since. And I haven’t had any problems with my devices either.

But it’s getting harder and harder to be an Anker fan. They are being slowwww to roll out USB-C chargers. One example is theor charging station with the most USB-C ports only has two USB-C ports, And it’s way over-priced at $100. Powergence has a charging station with 3 USB-C ports and it’s only $60.

i‘m pretty much at the point with Anker where they’re making me jump ship.

None of the discounts are significant, except the last one in the list. It feels more like a way for Anker to keep its name out there than a desire to offer customers a true discount.
