The offer is valid in Canada at physical Apple Store locations, through Apple's online store, in the Apple Store app, or by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini purchases made between June 10 and June 28. Purchases made with carrier financing are eligible, with full terms and conditions outlined on Apple's website.

Apple's online store went down earlier today in Canada, likely in relation to this promotion launching. The offer does not appear to be available in the United States or other countries at this time, nor does it apply to any other products.

Apple released the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in October 2020, and introduced a purple color option for the devices in late April.

What about the US?

lol. Every other country gets left out of almost every promotion. As soon as another country gets something, someone immediately asks for it in the US.

Welcome to what everyone else feels like.

Should have came with a cup of Tim Hortons and a jar of maple syrup.

And the bowl of poutine. Can't forget the poutine.

...don't get me started on bacon. Why the Americans call back bacon "Canadian bacon" - just annoying. If anything they should have called it Australian bacon. The Aussie's - that's their regular bacon. Up here, our bacon is the same as the Americans. What the Aussies's call "streaky bacon". :)

What about the US?

It should be pretty obvious - Apple has too much stock of these devices in Canada - they want it to move so they're not stuck with this inventory when the 12S/13 launches. If they were in the same situation in any other geographies, they'd do the same thing.
