The new collection can be found within the Browse section of the ‌Apple Music‌ app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Non-Apple Music subscribers can also browse the playlists using ‌Apple Music‌ on the web.

Apple says the playlists are updated daily with songs "making the waves" in cities worldwide. There are over 100 cities currently part of the collection, and Apple could add more with time. I really like the idea but in most of the cities I checked Justin Bieber was right up at the top so it was less interesting than I’d hoped.

I love this idea. But after browsing and listening to some of the cities, I’ve come to realize that I’m too old to keep up with latest pop music trends. Just not my style.

The music I am least likely to want to hear is the top 25 in any American city. Apple already tries to “suggest” entire genres of music I don’t particularly like. Top 25 elsewhere? Not sure at this time, but again “popular” is not always “good.”
I'm right there with you. Now, for a USEFUL update...enable me to disable entire genres so I don't see them or get them in suggestions. And I mean ANYWHERE in the app. Change "suggest less like this" to "never ever show me this trash again".

For once I'm glad Helsinki's not there so I don't have to feel ashamed for my fellow citizens' taste in music.
Well...if it is a choice of metal or Lil Baby, Lil Thug, Fatso Thee Stallion etc., I will take metal.

Some glaring omissions. No Stockholm or Helsinki but they include Winnipeg and Quebec City and Ottawa??!!
Doesn't really impact me as 95% of the tunes listed I don't consider music ;) :(
