Nobody ever cared about seasonal influenza, including Apple, before all of this bs happened. Donate your money to that, which is a massive killer every single year...that nobody still seems to care about.

I can’t speak for other manufacturers, but I don’t think Apple’s charged more for any (RED) variant. They just donate a portion of the profits that they’d otherwise keep.

I'm a little confused. I thought in the past that there was an extra charge for product(RED) items from Apple (and, I expect, from other retailers). But when I go to the Apple website and price out the phone, it shows the same price for the product(RED) version as it does when I choose the same configuration in either of the other colors.

Like anyone is buying ANY Red products until the new phone comes out. Amazing how this generous offer ends before the new iphone. Plus RED products are always too little too late, released at the end of the rush.
