All these major discounts have me concerned Apple is about to update the 16 inch MBP really soon which would such because I literally just bought it two weeks ago.
Just be happy with the current machine you got. The earliest they would update the 16” with the newest 10th gen chips would be around May/June.

Don’t worry and be happy with what you got.

The $300 off deal on the i9 16” is awesome. I went to Best Buy and they price matched it! And I was in Delaware...so no tax. So out the door $2500. Could not pass that up.
