Satechi today announced the launch of a new 108W Pro USB-C PD Desktop Charger, which is Satechi's most powerful power adapter to date, able to charge up to four devices at one time.

There are two USB-C ports, one of which is 90W for charging even Apple's new 16-inch Retina MacBook Pro and one of which is 18W for charging the iPad Pro and iPhones with a USB-C to Lightning cable.

Along with the two USB-C ports, there are also two USB-A ports that offer 12W of power total for charging accessories like the Apple Watch.

Design wise, the power adapter is made from an aluminum material and it has been created to be compact in size, making it ideal for travel when multiple devices need to be charged.

Not everyone is going to meet/exceed the highest power from MBP16,1 but please realize APPLE ships the machine with a 96W charger that has 94W reported output. Anything less and you are potentially running into battery drain while plugged in during heavy/taxing use. Especially for video professionals and those using the dGPU, it is something to be aware of.

90W is not equal to 94W/96W/100W no matter how you slice it.

Oh man! So close. I just need one more USB-A and this will be perfect for me.

Enough with the f*king power adapters/charging devices being announced this year at CES. Most of us have that covered by now. Where’s the innovation?
I haven’t seen a USB-C charger with two PD ports and two USB-A ports until now. This is actually pretty cool.

This is why we all had to get LED lightbulbs; to offset the future consumption of cell phone charges.

We got a foldable laptop/tablet and a disappearing camera, which will surely be used in-screen in future phones. That’s cool.
