Twitter today announced that its Direct Message (DM) search feature is now available to all users, allowing anyone to search through the DMs they've received.

The new search bar is located above the the DM interface in the Twitter app or on the web and it can be used to locate conversations with specific people and groups.

DM search first debuted in August, when Twitter said that it was testing out the feature. Some users have had the search bar since then as part of the test, but as of today, it's available for everyone.

The promoted stories are militantly liberal. Their features content is completely left leaning. Its a joke
There’s plenty of third party twitter clients that don’t have the news section. Tweetbot is a great one I use, it only shows stuff from people you follow.

I find Twitter to be a place full of information and interesting interaction.
As with any tool, how useful it is is all about how you choose to use it.
