So even after the discount you are paying $2500 for a mid-range laptop with bad keyboard and faulty screen and battery. No thanks!

Only appealing deal is the Apple Pencil, I would buy it if it was compatible with my iPad Pro.
An 8-core i9, 2800MB/s storage and a 2880 * 1800 resolution display is a midrange laptop? Come on.

The keyboard was improved in 2018 and further in 2019, and subject to replacement if there are any problems within 4 years of the purchase date.

The screen issue looks to have been addressed in 2018: https://www.macrumors.com/2019/03/05/apple-flexgate-possible-fix/

There is no battery issue.

Cool it on the trolling. Have a nice weekend.

Let me break it down for you since it seems difficult to understand, I was talking mainly about the junk keyboard, it is trash no matter the generation, I was also referring to the faulty screen, which is in fact a defect and it affected the machine I USE, why does it hurt you so much to accept it?

And yes, these machines do not perform the same as others even with a big chip in it, it will just get hot and underclocked as soon as you through serious design tasks, numerical simulations or heavy computing to it. For better performance I have to go to a PC that costs $890 less or to a Linux machine that costs $1000 less than the (already) reduce price they show here. And you can game on them...

You are the same kind of people that did not want a files system on the iPad or that accept the moniker "Pro" on anything. I guess all you do with your devices is consume media.
You don’t have the guts to admit you’re wrong, I get it perfectly. So it’s got a top-end CPU and top-end SSD, but you’re calling it a “mid-grade” laptop because previous year models had issues? Oh, and you can’t run “numerical simulations” all day without thermal throttling, ok. Just keep moving those goalposts. You might try a grammar checker too, wow.

Faulty screen and battery? What? With the screen, I assume you mean the connector cable issue which has been resolved for the most part, but battery?

Careful, someone may attack you for saying the truth.

There is people in this world that think Apple can do no wrong and would not take an ounce of criticism. There are many things they need to improve, fix and make better, and the more we point it out the better for the consumer.
