Spark Email App Gains Support for Siri Shortcuts

Even if I install it, it will probably be killed, lol. Every damn time. Also I'm kind of wary of free apps that have access to my personal info, because if it's free you're usually the product, so it's probably for the best for me to refrain. I love trying new Siri Shortcuts though so it's hard to resist.

Readdle as a company has other revenue apps that supports them. Also, https://readdle.com/blog/2016/12/a-few-words-about-sparks-business-model. I understand the cynicism though.

PDF Expert is worth every damn petty on iOS and Mac. Scanner Pro as well. And Calendar 5. I'd give them more of my money once they implement creating forms in PDF Expert. All their apps work really well for me and my uses. I love them.

Looks cool, but as soon as I buy this it will get bought out by a bigger company and shut down months to a year later. It always happens to me with email apps. I'm basically doing you all a favor by not purchasing this, lol.

but i stopped using it, because it didn't work well on my apple watch. always told me to open the app on the phone to read the email...

so i went back to the iPhone Mail app and now i can read the whole e-mail on the watch without problems.

this also finally encouraged me to ditch Gmail (since push doesn't work with the Apple Mail app) and lord knows they got too many sources to collect my data already.

alot of services/websites to change my e-Mail, but i think it will be worth it in the end.

and now i stopped using Chrome too...

Oh I didn't realize it's Readdle. I used to use a lot of their apps back in the day, and they were some of the best on the store. I really liked what they said on that blog link you posted. I might have to try it out, but don't blame me when Facebook buys them and shuts them down in July.

Do they no longer store email passwords on their servers? I bet they do. This app is still serious security threat and useless because of that.

depends on the mail service. with outlook or gmail you have to log in on the website of Google/Microsoft and they don't get your password, but you allow their service to access your account.
but it is still a privacy nightmare, because they get full access to your e-mails.
and one always has to wonder why they make it free.
