Orders began shipping over the weekend, with deliveries starting today and continuing into next week for the earliest adopters.

There was a time when Apple users were pioneers of new technologies... remember USB? We were happy about this, even if change meant dongles and painful architecture jumps.
Now, at least for the vocal minority on forums, resistance to change is the name of the game. They want their 1996 ports so badly, whereas it's clear that Apple's push will accelerate the adoption of the fantastic new standard like nothing else would do.
