Apple Store Goes Down Ahead of Today's 'Let Us Loop You In' Event

Apple's online storefront has been taken offline this morning, less than six hours prior to the company's upcoming "Let Us Loop You In" media event at its Cupertino campus, where Tim Cook's executive team is expected to announce the new 4-inch iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, and Apple Watch updates.

Apple's special event starts at 10 a.m. Pacific, with a live stream (spoiler free) available on Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV. In a memo shared with Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers this week, and later obtained by MacRumors, Apple provided technicians with guidance on how to diagnose and address the iPhone Duo's inner display cracking issue. Apple Executive Comments on New iPad Mini Lacking 120Hz Display

While the new iPad mini has an OLED display, the device does not support ProMotion, meaning the display's refresh rate is limited to 60Hz instead of 120Hz. That is surprisingly early especially considering that the rumours are pointing to very weak announcement.
Not an event that I am excited about but I hope there will be few surprises.
Would love to see rMBP 17 brought back to life :D
