nVIDIA + Apple Sitting in a Tree...?

Slashdot has recently
posted a link to an article on href="http://www.heise.de/newsticker/data/chl-07.07.00-000/"

signed an OEM agreement with Apple to supply the

GeForce2 MX 3D hardware. It was not clear whether or
not this was an ousting of ATI as a major (currently
the only) graphics hardware supplier to Apple (please, let

be so!). This seemed like great news...

ng us aware that nVIDIA's VP of marketing stated,
clearly, that "reports of this rumor are factually
incorrect." Hmmm... Did someone spill the beans a shade
early, or is
someone pulling our twisted pair? Here at macrumors, we
