Mac OS X Speech?

For a while, Apple seemed to be on the cutting edge with their technology... but in recent years, the future of Apple's Speech technology has seemed a bit spotty...

MacCentral reports that Mac OS X Final will have features on par with PlainTalk 2.0. As well:

"According to some rumors, Apple was supposedly working on the creation of "personalities" -- databases of responses to user questions and commands."
