The post builds on a report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who said the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 would ship with a feature that analyzes a user's day, including conversations they've had, and provides a summary of what took place. Gurman noted the system apparently does not record or store audio and cannot produce a transcript to preserve privacy, and it is unclear how exactly it works.

The Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 are expected to be announced later today alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, ‌iPhone 18 Pro‌ Max, and the first foldable iPhone, dubbed the "iPhone Duo."

Does anyone here have a device that currently does this? I’m having trouble understanding why this is useful or helpful. I know what I did today, I was there :)

Just another step toward the Panopticon.

We think Flock cameras are bad, wait until they subpoena your watch to get a full report of your entire day for the last year.
