Apple Unveils All-New Siri App Across iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate

Apple today introduced a Siri app across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate, providing users with a dedicated spot to interact with the revamped assistant.

Siri App
In the Siri app, you can have back-and-forth conversations with Siri in text or voice modes, and your conversation history is synced across your devices via iCloud.

Apple is finally launching its more personalized version of Siri, complete with understanding of your personal context and on-screen awareness. It is called Siri AI, and it will initially be available in English only, according to Apple.

"Siri AI is an entirely new version of Siri deeply integrated into iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro," said Apple. "It can draw on personal context understanding to search across messages, emails, photos, and more, and get things done across apps with even more systemwide app actions."

Personalized Siri iOS 27
With broad world knowledge, the new Siri is able to answer many more questions.

Siri AI is available to test in the iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27 developer betas that were released today, and it is coming to the Apple Watch in a future watchOS 27 beta. Siri AI will also be included in the public betas of each platform that are launching at some point in July, according to Apple.

Apple has shared a list of devices compatible with Siri AI. For the iPhone in particular, you will need an iPhone 15 Pro or newer.

The revamped version of Siri will roll out to all customers with a compatible device later this year, but even the launch version will be considered a "beta."

This was above all shame! They should fire Mr. Tim Croock at this instant.

Since he started he didnt produce ANYTHING new or innovating, besides his GLASS, and “its faster” He sold a apple vision pro worldwide to more then 100.000 people for as little as 5000.- and the declared it vintage and didnt even want to trade it in for a new one. In other words “you bought the garbage, now keep it”.

The only thing he did was line his pocket by selling all his apple shares he got when he took the job. Fired all the innovators or let them walk away from apple.

This is a disgrace!

All there is left to do now, is the 2000 “bugfixes” the coming year. And……DELAYED.

The “NEW” Siri??? SLOW as sirup and just as dumb as what we use now, “im sorry i cant find your lightbulbs” But 10 times as slow. And ofcourse…..ENGLISH only!!! And thats good news for the rest of the world. Last time we had to wait SEVEN YEARS for a Dutch speaking siri and even then she didnt understand half.

End conclusion? They should have “delayed” this WWDC for 5 more years. Then we have the time to get used with a antique apple tv, or macbook pro, or…whatever.

BTW……new hardware?? FORGET IT, with these new chip prices we cant get our 400% profit marging. so you just have to wait!!

Siri might be good, but it's 2 years late, and not in EU at all... well ok bye Apple I'm done this time.
Ok. Bye.
Your big complaint is it’s two years late, but it’s here now. So you’ll leave when it’s here, not in the last two years? The EU thing is because… lots of rules to comply with. Once they’ve got the features and methods locked down, they’ll probably get it in the EU.

I’ll be honest, this was not something I was excited for. However, if it works as well as the demonstration, I can see this being really useful and not just a gimmick used to show off new technology.
