Yesterday my wife noticed my iPhone 13 Pro has the battery percentage and she got excited. I had to give her the bad news that her iPhone 13 Mini won't support it for no reason. She was irritated. Hopefully this was just an issue with this beta and they add it to all the phones. I don't see why it couldn't be on the Mini—it doesn't use up any extra display space. I toggled it on and off and it has the old indicator there when you turn it off and nothing moves to make room for this new percentage thing. The only difference is the battery icon gets every so slightly taller to fit the text. If they keep these from the Mini customers then it's only out of spite for whatever reason. Apple is stupid sometimes, like the fact that it took them 5 years to come up with this "brilliant" concept.

Well, if they don't implement this for the mini models, you'll have to disable it on your phone...
