Just hours ahead of Apple's event today, reputable leaker Evan Blass has shared images of what he claims are the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in blue, red, green, black, and white.

The colors for both models are as rumored with the blue being a dark blue similar to the new aluminum Apple Watch Series 6 blue option, the green being a light minty shade, and the red being (PRODUCT)RED branded.

As expected, both phones have similar rear camera setups as the iPhone 11, with two camera lenses, a flash, and a microphone housed in the camera bump.
We'll see the official unveiling of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini at Apple's "Hi, Speed" event in just a few hours.

In a memo shared with Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers this week, and later obtained by MacRumors, Apple provided technicians with guidance on how to diagnose and address the iPhone Duo's inner display cracking issue.

While the new iPad mini has an OLED display, the device does not support ProMotion, meaning the display's refresh rate is limited to 60Hz instead of 120Hz.
ProMotion support would have allowed for the iPad mini's refresh rate to automatically adjust from 10Hz to 120Hz depending on the content being displayed, but evidently Apple has kept the feature exclusive to the iPad Pro among iPad...

In the U.S. and most other countries, Apple's website shows the new iPad mini being held by pinched fingers, but this is not the case in South Korea.

Yea you're right ofc it is worth the risk to break a $1K phone just to show off. You will get scratches at the very least. "Modern iPhone" as you say are made of glass on the back which is way more fragile than aluminium (6,6S,7). Don't be fooled by Apple's marketing "most durable glass on an iPhone" it not by any means most durable iPhone. If you like your device, take care of it.
iPhone ownership seems to have always included a bit of contradiction.
Buy a beautifully sleek and elegant phone, then slap a screen protector on it, and put it in a case, so that in 2 years one can resell a pristine looking phone to the next person... without ever truly enjoying the beauty of that phone themselves. :)
Far too many put their expensive iPhones in luggable Otterbox cases and then look down their nose at those with Android phones that are "clunky" and "chunky". 😅
The last iPhone I owned was the original SE which had a design that didn't need it to be treated like a Faberge egg. (I still have that SE and it now serves as an iPod Touch Pro).
