"Best Buy stores in the U.S. will open at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 26"

I refuse to shop at a store that succumbs to the mind numbing holiday shopping hysteria and opens on Thanksgiving.

or will it be the SS and link band combo that cost over $1,000.
The most expensive Watch Best Buy sells is the 42mm Milanese Loop that retails for $699.

If you're unfortunate enough to be traveling over the Holidays, do check out those Best Buy airport kiosks. Last year, Santa bought several iPad Mini 2's for about $220 each. Not a bad deal at the time, but I'd hope they get under two bills this year. Point is, the kiosks had Black Friday pricing.

Cons:

* Non-Retina Display
* Slow HDD Standard, and SATA 3 Instead of PCIe
* Outdated CPU & GPU
* Thicker, Heavier
* Worse Battery Life

Which still makes me wonder why anyone would buy one.

An external superdrive. Not that most people would want to burn CDs on the go in 2015... o_O
In 2012, I could certainly see the appeal of the cMBP. There was a significant price premium for the 13" rMBP at the time, the CPU/GPU were the same, and an SSD would perform similarly between both while the cMBP was upgradeable.

3 years later, the age has caught up with it. A 13" rMBP is not much more expensive, especially with buying from resellers, the GPU/CPU are noticeable faster, and the new PCIe SSDs will smoke anything you could put in the cMBP. You also get the benefits of the form factor, weight and retina display. I love upgradability, but it's simply not enough of an advantage now, IMO.
