A Reuters article reports on Apple Expo Paris, and provides some new information on Apple's plans for the iTunes Music Store.
When questioned about the launch of the iTunes Music Store for Europe, Jobs replied "We're clearly working on it (but) I think we'll do it next year". Distribution rights are cited as the reason for the delay.
Jobs did reiterate that iTunes for Windows would be coming this year and claimed "We're very much on track to execute iTunes for Windows".
Meanwhile, the most recent rumors have pointed towards an October release for iTunes for Windows.

Apple this year acquired Israeli startup Q.ai for close to $2 billion, according to the Financial Times. That would make this Apple's second-biggest acquisition ever, after it paid $3 billion for the popular headphone maker Beats in 2014.
This is also the largest known Apple acquisition since the company purchased Intel's smartphone modem business and patents for $1 billion in 2019.
